2014 Spring Rodeo Season – Week 3

The Wyoming High School Rodeo Circuit will head back to southwest Wyoming, and compete in Big Piney this weekend.

Below are the winners of the Rock Springs rodeo.

Barrel Racing: Madison Wilkerson (Jackson) won both days

Breakaway Roping: Casey Rae Reimler (Rozet) and Deena Norell (Meeker, CO)

Goat Tying: Ashten Marchant (Newcastle) and Casey Rae Reimler (Rozet)

Pole Bending: Chloe Ashenhurst (Wheatland) and Shelby Mann (Sheridan)

Saddle Broncs: Brady Thurston (Lance Creek) and J.D. Slagowski (Eden)

Steer Wrestling: Kane Butcher (Jelm) and Brady Thurston (Lance Creek)

Team Roping Saturday: Trace Steele (Sundance) and Jhett Hadley (Wheatland)

Team Roping Sunday: Zane Thompson (Cheyenne) and Mat Tehau (Kaycee)

Tie-Down Roping: Tayler Tarver (Gillette) and J.D. Slagowski (Eden)

Bull Riding: No Saturday winner and no Sunday winner

The top 4 in each event at the end of the season, are invited to compete at the High School National Finals Rodeo, to be held in Rock Springs in July, 2014.
