Sheridan College head men's basketball coach Steve Smiley is pleased to announce the 2011 Wyoming All-Stars who will participate in the Annual Wyoming vs. Montana game on June 10th and 11th.

Leading this year's squad will be the Wyoming Gatorade Player of the Year Taran Brown from Campbell County High School. Taran is a 6'8" forward who led the Gillette Camels to a 4A state title this past March. Taran was 6th in the state in scoring at 20.1 pts per game, 6th in the state in blocked shots at 2.3 per game, and 9th in the state for field goal percentage at 58%. Taran will be playing basketball for UC Santa Barbra in California next year.

Backing up Brown will be three players from the 2010 4A state championship team from Natrona County High School. Jordan Dick is a 6'4" shooting guard who helped lead the Mustangs to a 3rd place finish in the Wyoming State Championships this past March. Jordan was 3rd in class 4A for steals at 2.4 per game, averaged 11.3 points per game, and shot 36% from three point range. Jordan's teammate Kyle Vinich is a 6'6" forward who averaged 12.9 points per game, 5.4 rebounds per game, and 1.7 steals per game. Finally from Natrona High School is 7'0" center Andrew Martin. Andrew averaged 2.3 blocks per game, 3.9 rebounds per game, and just under 9 points per game.

Representing Rock Springs High School will be Zach Rosette. Zach is a 6'2" point guard who was 6th in the state in assists at 4.9 per game, and 7th in class 4A in scoring at 13.3 per game. The other point guard for the Wyoming All-Star game will be Raith Duram from Sheridan High School. Raith was 3rd in the state in assists at 5.4 per game, 6th in the state for three point percentage at 43%, averaged 1.3 steals per game, and just under 9 points per game.

Representing the 2011 Class 4A State Runner up team will be Nick Mayes from Laramie, Wyoming. Nick was 6th in class 4A in Scoring at 12.7 points per game, 2nd in class 4A in rebounding at 7.3 per game, and averaged 1.9 steals per game.

Representing the only undefeated team in Wyoming Men's basketball will be 6'6" forward Colby Wollenman from Big Horn, Wyoming. Colby not only led the Rams to an undefeated record, but also to the Rams first state title in over 20 years! Colby averaged 12.3 points per game, and just under 9 rebounds per game. Colby was also named the Sheridan County player of the year.

Another representative of a Wyoming State title team will be Aaron Tyser from Buffalo Wyoming. Aaron was 9th in class 3A in scoring at 16 per game, averaged 0.4 blocks per game, and shot 36% from three point range.

The final member of this year's 2011 Wyoming All-Star team Is Jay Brown who finished as the state leader in scoring at 25.5 points per game, #1 in the state in steals at 4.9 per game, and 6th in the state in assists at 4.5 per game. Jay Brown will represent St. Stephens High School as the final member of the 2011 Wyoming High School All Stars.
