Boys Soccer: 4A Regionals and 3A State Qualifying Matchups and Results 2014

With a couple of exceptions in 3A, the regular season is complete.

Time to start the post-season.

4A East at Gillette:

#1 Laramie and #2 Gillette have earned a first round bye and have automatically qualified for the state tournament.

Thursday, May 15th:

#3 Cheyenne Central 8 #6 Cheyenne South 1 - South Eliminated. Central qualifies for the state tournament.

#5 Cheyenne East 2 #4 Sheridan 1 - Sheridan Eliminated. East qualifies for the state tournament.

Friday, May 16th:

#2 Gillette 1 Central 0

#1 Laramie 3 East 0

Saturday, May 17th:

Central 3 East 0 - 3rd Place Game

Gillette 1 Laramie 0 Shootout: 2-0 - Championship

4A West at Riverton:

#1 Riverton and #2 Green River have earned a first round bye and have automatically qualified for the state tournament.

Kelly Walsh gets #4 seed over Evanston due to having head-to-head sweep.

Thursday, May 15th:

#3 Rock Springs 3 #6 Natrona 0 - Natrona Eliminated. Rock Springs qualifies for the state tournament.

#4 Kelly Walsh 2 #5 Evanston 1 - Evanston Eliminated. Kelly Walsh qualifies for the state tournament.

Friday, May 16th:

#2 Green River 3 Rock Springs 2

#1 Riverton 3 Kelly Walsh 2 OT

Saturday, May 17th:

Rock Springs 3 Kelly Walsh 2 - 3rd Place Game

Green River 2 Riverton 1 - Championship

3A Qualifying Games at Worland:

The first place teams in each quadrant (Buffalo, Lander, Powell, and Jackson), are already in the state tournament, and do not play this weekend.

The winners qualify for the state tournament.

The losers are done for the season.

Friday, May 16th:

(#3 SW) Pinedale 1 (#2 NE) Douglas 0 - Pinedale plays Powell at State Tournament.

Saturday, May 17th:

(#2 NW) Cody 2 (#3 SE) Rawlins 1 - Cody plays Jackson at State Tournament.

(#2 SW) Star Valley 7 (#3 NE) Newcastle 0 - Star Valley plays Lander at State Tournament.
