After reading the WHSAA handbook on ties (rule 7.11.42 b), it appears that a coin flip is needed to break the tie between Torrington and Lander. The 2 teams have a head-to-head split, the common opponents tie-breaker does not work, and both teams gave up 8 goals in divisional play.
