The Burlington Huskies grinded out a 53-37 semi-final round win over Farson-Eden on Friday night to propel them into the 1A Boys state championship game on Saturday.

The Huskies had a double-double performance by Dontae Garza who had 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Dallin Davidson and Dallin Christensen each had a dozen points apiece.

Farson-Eden had a tough night shooting the basketball, going just 26% from the field and were led in scoring by Lain Mitchelson with 13 and Cruz Lucero with 12.

The Pronghorns fall to 14-13 on the year and will meet Kaycee for 3rd place tomorrow.

Burlington will be looking for their 4th consecutive state championship and sit at 18-7.

The Huskies will meet Little Snake River in the 1A Championship on Saturday night at the Casper Events Center.
