The race for the 4A Girls Basketball State Championship was never close.

Campbell County (24-5) played their 12 games of the season vs. out-of-state opponents, and from the lessons they learned, they would go undefeated vs. Wyoming competition, crushing defending champ Cheyenne East 65-41, in the 4A State Championship game.

Rylee Hladky led the way for the Lady Camels with 17 points.

Madison Hieb (16 points) and Jordan Fink (11 points) each had double-digit contributions.

The Lady ThunderBirds were led by MaKenzee Fagenbush with 11 points.

The state that made the difference was that Campbell County took and made more shots (20 of 51 vs. 11 of 29).
