Indoor Track Jan 28th

Indoor track ran at the Black Hills State High School Invite. No team scores were kept and individually,  The Destafano’s of Gillette won the girls distance races. Quinn won the 800 while Audra won the 16 and 3200 hundred

Gable to Speak to WCA

The Wyoming Coaches Association would like to announce that Dan Gable, former Iowa Hawkeye coach and Olympic Gold Medalist will be speaking during Clinic Week  2011.  Coach Gable will be at the clinic on Friday, July 22nd @ 8:30am

Indoor Track Results

More than 640 athletes and 12 teams competed in the first ever invite in Gillette's new facility.

Individually; Gillette's Paula Andrie won the pole vault and the 55 hurdles.    Brandon Nimmo of Central won the 200 and 400 meter dashes

Laramie Sweeps Shine Indoor Event

Laramie won the boys and girls titles at the Laramie Shine Indoor Track Meet over the weekend in Laramie.

Individually, Laramie Sophomore Cassity Meade won the 200 and the 400.    On the boy's side, Green River Junior Kolby Kester won the 60 meters and the 200

Yellow Jacket Indoor Track Invite

Several Wyoming teams went to the Yellowjacket Invite in Spearfish South Dakota over the weekend.

Individually, Worland's Jessie Eaves won the 60 and 200 meters as well as the 60 meter hurdles.  Gillette's Audra DeStefano won the 800 and the 1600

WY Legislature To Discuss Concussion Bill

It's not often that Wyoming sports are the topic of discussion within the Wyoming Legislature, but now might not be a bad time, before other athletes end up in a world of pain and/or forgetfulness!

One of the many bills to be discussed by the 2011 Wyoming Legislature, is Senate File 38 (aka the Concussion Bill)
