Defending State Champion Cheyenne East will play for the 4A Girls championship yet again as they rallied to beat Thunder Basin 53-47 in the semi-final round at the Casper Events Center on Friday night. Thunder Basin had a lead of as many as 12 but East outscored the Bolts 20-7 in the 4th quarter to seal the win. The Thunderbirds shot 33% from the floor and received 12 points from Makenzee Fagenbush and 11 from Jazzy Espinoza. Thunder Basin had one player in double figures and that was Jersie Taylor with 12. the Bolts fall to 20-7 and will play for 3rd place tomorrow. East improves to 20-9 and will play in the 4A title game on Saturday at 3:30 at the Events Center.
