The Encampment boys basketball team, after missing the state tournament a year ago, made a statement in the opening round of this year's state tourney with a resounding 70-35 win over Hanna-Elk Mountain on Thursday afternoon. The Tigers were white hot in the first half going 19-30 from the field and shot 50% from the field for the game. Kyler Miller led Encampment with 17 and Dalton Peterson added 16, The Tigers advance to the 1A semi-finals tomorrow at 7:30 at Casper College with a record of 20-7, Hanna got 14 points from Conor McGraw and 10 from Shane McGraw. The Miners are 14-10 and will play in the consolation round at noon tomorrow at the Erickson Gym
