A couple of shake-ups happened in the final week of the 2014 Volleyball regular season, and the final coaches/media poll voters took notice.

Kelly Walsh's 4 game upset over former #1 Natrona last week, got some attention, considering the Lady Trojans were swept at home by the Fillies earlier in the month. NC drops to #3 in the rankings, but got the tie-breaker over KW for the #1 seed at the regional tournament. East took advantage of the situation, by going undefeated in East conference play and moved up to #1, by 1 vote ahead of KW, who occupies the #2 spot. In all likelihood, the Lady Thunderbirds will have to go through both Casper schools, in order to win the state tournament. Riverton and Central hold at the #4 and #5 rankings, but it's the Lady Wolverines that have to play the extra games at regionals.

There was only a slight change in the final 3A rankings. Powell and Mountain View remain #1 and #2, and are heading to Jackson for their regional tournament. Rawlins and Douglas hold at #3 and #4, and will take their game to Worland this weekend. Star Valley is now in at #5.

A big upset almost happened in 2A. #1 Wright found themselves in a 2-1 hole at Big Horn back on Saturday, but managed to pull out a hard earned W. So, the Lady Panthers are still the unanimous #1. Lyman has climbed up the ranks for the 2nd straight week, and claim the #2 spot, dropping Big Horn to #3. Shoshoni and Southeast trade places at #4 and #5, with the Lady blue occupying the higher rankings.

Hulett is still the unanimous #1 in 1A, heading into the regional tournament. #2 Little Snake River managed to surprise #3 Encampment in the regular season finale, thus moving the Lady Ratters up, but the Lady Tigers won the coin flip for seeding at regionals. They will be joined in Lander by #4 Cokeville. As for the #5 rankings, that goes to Kaycee.
