Former Mountain View Buffalo Amber Henry is proving to be a fast running Wildcat.

The Weber State junior, recently placed third at the NCAA Cross-Country Mountain Region Meet, turning in a time of 20 minutes 18.4 seconds on the 6K course, missing out on 2nd place by 0.3 seconds.

The time is good enough for her to qualify for the NCAA Cross-Country Championship Meet to be held on November 17th in Louisville, KY.

Henry is a two-time Big Sky Conference Champion.

During the 2012 Outdoor Track and Field season, she earned Second-Team All-American Honors in the steeplechase and set a Weber State school record in 1,500 meter run.

During the 2012 Indoor Track and Field season, she was named Big Sky Female Track Athlete of the Meet at the Big Sky Championships and set a school record in the 3,000 meter run.
