Gillette Girls Earn Spot in 4A Girls Final
The high scoring Gillette girls were held to just 51 points but that was more than enough to down Cheyenne Central 51-36 to advance to the 4A Championship on Saturday against Cheyenne East. The Camels outscored the Indians in every quarter and had an 11-6 advantage in the 4th quarter. Gillette shot just 30% from the floor but made 7-22 3 pointers to improve to 23-5 on the year. Mollie Wilson led the Camels with 16 with Rylee Hladky chipping in 14. Central will play for 3rd place tomorrow as the Indians drop to 14-15 on the season. Sammy Geyer was the only Central player in double figures with 10.
