Some teams are going to get tested this week, including 3 of the 4 #1's.

The East Conference rules the lastest girls 4A poll, and all 5 teams will mix it up amongst themselves this weekend. It starts on Friday, when unanimous #1 Sheridan visits #2 Gillette, AND #4 (tie) plays at #4 (tie) Laramie. Then on Saturday it's #4 (tie) Laramie at #3 Central.

No change in the 3A poll this week. It remains Douglas at #1, followed by Cody, Mountain View, Buffalo and Wheatland. The game to keep an eye on is Friday, when #4 Buffalo plays at #1 Douglas.

1 vote seperates #1 from #2, and they'll both have a chance to prove that they should be on top...unless #3 spoils either of their plans and can cash in on the opportunity. #3 Rocky Mountain visits #1 Lovell on Thursday, and then #2 undefeated Big Horn is at R.M. on Saturday. Pine Bluffs is back in the poll at #5 this week. (UPDATE: Wyopreps has learned that the TR-Lovell game that was postponed from Jan. 22nd, will be made up on Tuesday, Feb. 1st)

Not much excitement scheduled this week for 1A teams, although Guernsey now holds the #5 spot. The rest of the poll has L.S.R., Kaycee, Cokeville, and Burlington, holding down the #1-#4 spots.
