Cody/Powell Invite:

Day one at Powell was shortened to 15 holes due to lightning.   Therefore, the event was called and 18 hole event.  Much like in Buffalo, Kamrin Allen of Sheridan and Haley Shackelford of Gillette won the medalist honors.   The Sheridan boys went 1-2-3 and had a fourth tied for fourth to win the team trophy.   The Gillette girls went 1-2 and 6 to win the girl's division.

Torrington Invite  Final Results:

Cheyenne Central put four in the top six of the boys standings in winning the Torrington Invite.   Keegan Brenner of Central carded a 148 to win the event by three strokes.    East was second with Torrington third.   On the girls side, East's Blake Marquardt won top honors by 11 strokes shooting a 180.   East posted a team score of 595 to win by 25 strokes over Rawlins.

August 22-23 Results:

Buffalo Invite:

Sheridan's Kamrin Allen won the boys side while Hailey Shackelford of Gillette won the girls medalist honors.  Both helped their team to the team titles, respectively.   Allen shot a 69 and then a 68 to win by 11 strokes.  Shackelford carded an 82 and followed it up with a 79 to win the girls side by 7 strokes.   Sheridan put four golfers in the top seven places to win the boy's side.  Gillette went 1-2-3 with two more in the top ten to win the girls.

Laramie Invite:

At Red Jacoby Golf Coure in Laramie, the Plainsmen boys and Natrona girls were champions.   Individually, Garret Dorn of Natrona beat Myles Bitner of Laramie in a one hole playoff for the title.  Both shot a two day 150 to tie after 36 holes.   On the lady's side, Brooke Ford of Natrona edged out teammate Brigit Kelly by two strokes to win there.  The Natrona girls would go 1-2-3-4-5 in taking the team title.
