The 2nd week for Cross Country and Swimming goes on while Golf has their third weekend of competition.

Golfers are in a number of different venues.

At Torrington,  the Blazer boys won on their home course beating Buffalo by 19 strokes.  The Buffalo girls were first.   Individually, Hannah Pfister of Buffalo was first while Torrington's Brett Guth as the medalist.

Riverton's boys won 10 of 12 flights in match play at Green River.  Wolverine Freshman Easton Paxton won the #1 flight shooting a 63.  That is 8 under par at the course in Green River.  Nathan Greene was 2nd with a 67.   Teams were Green River, Rock Springs, Evanston and Riverton.

At Cheyenne, The East boys and Scottsbluff girls were team champs.  East's Quintin Pope won first with a two day 136.  He shot a 66 on the 2nd day.   Amanda Hinchey of Kelly Walsh and Erin Ellis of Natrona tied with a 158.   Brandon Nowak from Cheyenne East had a hole in one on his first shot of the tournament on hole number 14 on Thursday, the hole is 110 yards long.

At Wright, Dallas Millin of Wright and Kacey O'Connor were individual champions.  The Lusk Girls and Wright boys were team champs.

Other Golf was in Lander and Gillette.  In Gillette at Bell Nob, there were only four boys teams and no varsity girls teams.   Danny Davis of Gillette was first as was the Camel boys as a team.

At Lander,  the Tiger boys won on their home course while the Star Valley girls were champs on the other ledger.   Cody's Sydney Gunn was the girls medalist while Carson Walker won the boys'.


Cross Country meets are in Rawlins and Sheridan.   Sheridan hosting nearly 25 teams as runners get a glimpse of the state course.

Rock Springs' Ricky Faure won the boys race as the his Tiger Team.  Kimberly Holiday from Cody won the girl's race.  The Gillette girls were team champions.

Rawlins hosted a XC event.
