The Lady Broncs would score twice in the first half and kept the Lady Braves out of the net, en route to another state championship.

I'm curious...with all of those umbrellas there...how did anyone manage to see the game? You got me.

Star Valley at Jackson for the 3A Girls State Championship...first half...Jackson wearing the black...and just to give you an idea as to how wet it was...Taylor Graue was not really trying with this kick...and Emily Wolfley should have had that one easily...instead it slips through for a goal and the Lady Broncs will take it...they lead this contest 1-to-nothing.

Moving on...Jessica Freeze with a free kick for the home team from about 30 yards out...and this ball will squeeze in between Wolfley and goal post for another score...the rain was not bothering the senior and her team-mates one little bit...the score is now 2-zip.

Give credit to Star Valley though...the soccer program has only been around for 9 years and they are playing for the first state championship...Jess Woodford would give it a shot, but Faith Hamlin was not letting anything get by her...the score would remain 2-nil going into halftime.

Second half...this was probably the best shot for the Lady Braves...Abby Nicoll from just outside the box...and she put just a little bit much on that kick. She was denied by the cross-bar...and that would put an end to that scoring threat.

Not much else happened highlight-wise...and when the final whistle sounded...Jackson would celebrate yet again.

The Lady Broncs win their 5th title in 6 years...final score...2-nil...as they would finish the season with a record of 14-and-3.
