The 4A East won 3 of the 4 first round games in the Girls State Tournament in Casper as Laramie knocked off Rock Springs 43-36 at Casper College on Thursday night.

Rock Springs came in as a #1 seed but shot just 30% for the game and just 22% in the first half.

The Lady Tigers were 2-13 from 3 point land 8-18 from the line.

Laramie struggled from the field as well, going 26% from the floor and 1-10 from beyond the arc.

The Lady Plainsmen were led by Olivia Dorrell with 16 and Rock Springs got 17 from Ky Buell.

Laramie at 17-8 has a date with Cheyenne East in the semi-finals on Friday at the Events Center at 6pm.

Rock Springs, at 16-7 will play Evanston in the consolation round at 10:30am on Friday.
