Latest Girls Soccer Poll Has Clear Leaders With a Muddle Middle
In the latest girls soccer poll, it's starting to become clear who the cream of the crop is entering the 2nd half of the regular season.
It's just figuring out who's the best of the rest.
In the 4A girls poll, Sheridan is the unanimous #1. The rest of the poll is pretty close with East teams dominating once again. Central is at #2, followed by Gillette, Laramie and East. Big games this week has #4 Laramie visiting both #1 Sheridan and #3 Gillette, while #2 Central is at #5 East on Friday. Although unranked, the west is a little crowded up top with Kelly Walsh leading and Green River and Natrona right behind them. GR hosts both Casper schools this weekend...NC first on Friday.
On the 3A side, Cody still holds at #1, with their only blemish coming against #1 4A Sheridan back at the beginning of the season. Buffalo moves up to #2. From there, 3 teams lay claim to the #3 ranking. Lander, Jackson and Star Valley are all tied, with the latter 2 playing each other this Friday in Afton.
