The season is winding down for the boys of summer.

Sheridan will host the 2015 Wyoming American Legion Baseball AA State Tournament, but that's not the end of the season for 3 teams.

The winner of the tournament qualifies for the AA Northwest Regional Tournament to be played at Cheyenne.

Post 6 automatically qualifies for that tournament because they are the host, but another Wyoming team will get to compete as well.

If the host team is the state champ, then the state runner-up gets to go.

Since there are only 7 AA teams, Wyoming Legion Coaches invited the Cody Cubs to compete as well, since they are the A-State Champ.

The Cubs have already qualified for the A-League Northwest Regional Tournament in Utah, and get a chance to compete with AA teams, so they don't pick up one week's worth of rust in preparation for that tournament.

Cody will automatically have the West #4 seed.

This is a double elimination tournament.
