While the big boys are still getting ready for their state tournament, the future players will play theirs a week earlier.

Sheridan is the host site of the 2013 Wyoming American Legion Baseball B State Tournament.

It is a 6-team pool play, single elimination format.

Teams are pooled into 2 groups of 3, and will play the other 2 teams in their pool.

After that, teams are seeded into a 6-team single elimination tournament.

The winners of each pool, get a first round bye.

Pool A: Sheridan, Casper, Laramie

Pool B: Cheyenne, Gillette, Jackson

 

Thursday, July 25th:

Cheyenne 10 Gillette 1

Casper 11 Sheridan 0

 

Friday, July 26th:

Cheyenne 12 Jackson 8

Laramie 12 Casper 2

Gillette 14 Jackson 4

Sheridan 20 Laramie 3

Casper wins 3-way vs. Sheridan and Laramie, due to fewest runs allowed.

 

Saturday, July 27th:

Tournament Play:

Laramie 10 Gillette 3 - Gillette Eliminated.

Sheridan 17 Jackson 1 - Jackson Eliminated.

Cheyenne 16 Laramie 4 - Laramie Eliminated.

Sheridan 11 Casper 1 - Casper Eliminated.

 

Sunday, July 28th:

Sheridan 12 Cheyenne 2 - Championship
