Little Snake River Girls Basketball Team Nearly Squanders Double Digit Lead Vs. Encampment

With a double digit lead in the 4th quarter, Little Snake River knew it wasn't over...and they almost couldn't stop the comeback.

Up by 11, the Lady Rattlers watched defending state champ Encampment cut the lead to 2, but held on to win 44-42, to advance to the 1A state championship game.

Kirsten Gourlay led LSR with 14 points and Samantha Moon added 13 for the cause.

Noelle Peterson was the leading scorer for the Lady Tigers with 12, while Micaiah Pantle contributed with 11.

The problem for Encampment was that they 6 of 34 shooting for 17.6% in the first half.
