Natrona Grapplers Upend Gillette

The Natrona County wrestling teams recorded 5 pins and that enabled the Mustangs to beat defending 4A champion Gillette 36-28 in a dual in Casper on Tuesday night. The Mustangs picked up big points thanks to pins from 106 pounder, Brandon Haskins, Jon Gasperetti at 132, Brett Brenton at 138, Brayden Peak at 152 and Dan Slack at 182 pounds. Gillette did win 8 matches in the duel including one from defending 4A champion Logan Wagoner at 160 pounds. The Camels did not have the services of 2 of their better wrestlers, 138 pounder Taylor Jefferies and 220 pounder Zack Taylor. Natrona will wrestle at Riverton on Thursday while Gillette will host Kelly Walsh on Thursday
