Newcastle Boys Soccer To Start The Season Late

What looked like a non-existent season, might be getting some late support.

The boys soccer team at Newcastle, almost cancelled the 2013 season due to not having enough players.

However, some late sign ups might save the season...the problem is, the new players have to meet the practice requirement.

Because of this, the Dogies had to forfeit their games vs. Gering, NE and Douglas, scheduled for March 21st and 22nd.

A school spokesperson says the team hopes to be ready to go in time, for the next scheduled game, on April 5th at Torrington.
