The first gymnastics event of the year was held in Gillette over the weekend. Rapid City schools would dominate the event with Rapid City Central taking the championship and Rapid City Stevens finishing runner up less than 5 total points behind Central. Third place was the highest Wyoming finish in the Gillette team. Natrona took forth and Douglas rounded out the top five.
