Weiser to Rodeo in Texas

May 3, 2007, 06:53 p.m. EST

(wyopreps.com) Wheatland Senior Dana Weiser has signed a National Letter of Intent to rodeo at South Plains Junior College in Levelland, Texas. A multi sport athlete at Wheatland chose rodeo over basketball and volleyball. She has a 4.0 and was a two time All State in basketball and volleyball.

Dana is a two time national high school rodeo qualifier in goat tying. After looking at colleges and universities for various sports, Dana chose South Plains for the tough rodeo competition in the southwest region, the academic quality and the challenge of going to a new place. Dana plans to compete in goat tying, breakway roping, team roping and barrel racing while rooming with good friend Kelli Loshe of Kaycee.
