(wyopreps.com) Gillette couldn't have asked for a better weekend for their golfers. Both the Camels and Lady Camels won team championships at the 2007 Worland Fall Invitation. The Gillette boy's team made up of Blake Coulter, Dylan Ernst, Kameron Hunter, Kyle Hanson, and Spencer Shipley put together a final score of 618 which was just one stroke better than second place Cody at 619. Individually Cody's Clinton Boutelle again lead the pack with days of 70 and 66 for a two day total of 136. Mark Sanders of Lander put up a 145 that was good enough for second place and Kameron Hunter of Gillette came in third at 146.
As for the girls Gillette won the crown with a little more room to breathe. The Lady Camels team mad eup of Abbey Fields, Brooke Jorgenson, Emily Moore, and Morgan Pearson put up a total of 516. Meanwhile, Cody took second at 562 and Lander third at 574. Cody's Afton Balling had the best score individually with days of 79 and 84 to put together a weekend total of 163. Morgan Pearson of Gillette was second at 168, and Pearson's teammate Brooke Jorgenson shot a 171 for third place.
