(wyopreps.com) The Lander girls and boys golf teams swept the Eastern Conference event in Torrington over the weekend. The boys team of Chad Sawyer, Eric Ragan, Mark Sanders, Pat McGowan, and Seth Rohrbacher tallied a total team score of 656. Coming in second place was Buffalo shooting a team score of 673 and Douglas came in third at 674. Individually, Kyle Armstrong of Buffalo shot a two day total of 153 to lead the field. Lander's Mark Sanders finsihed second with a 156, and Ryan Young from Torrington third at 158.

The Lander girls ran away with the team championship. Caitlin Hurlock, Melia Rohrbacher, Haley Barton, Paige Kamminga, and Shantel Wright put together a team final score of 576. Buffalo took second shooting a 621 and Torrington third at 643. Individually Rachal Kramer of Buffalo lead the field with a two day score of 186. Lander teammates Caitlin Hurlock and Melia Rohrbacher tied for second place both shooting a 188.
