(wyopreps.com) 2A State Golf saw the home standing Lusk Tigers and the Thermopolis Lady Bobcats win the 2007 state championships! Lusk shot a team total of 745 in the two day event to claim the crown. Tongue River was just three strokes behind in second place at 748 and Meeteetse came in third at 787. Inidvidually Lusk's Jonathan Pischel had days of 79 and 82 for a total of 161 to lead the pack. Michael Robinson of Tongue River shot a 169 for second place, and Anthony Apland of Thermopolis got a 179 for third place.
The Thermopolis ladies shot a two day team total of 705 to win a championship. Sundance followed at 754 and Lusk was in third at 830. Katlyn Thomas of Wright lead the field with a two day 210. Brittney Backen of Sundance shot a 212 for second place, and Michelle Fields of Thermopolis had a 218.
