Evanston, Gillette, Cheyenne, and Rock Springs host the 4A Regional Soccer Tournaments this weekend.

The first round games on Thursday are just like the regional basketball tournaments with the winner advancing to play at least four more games while the losers are finished for the season. Winners go on to battle the top two seeds for seeding purposes for state. Two teams in each bracket have already secured their spots at State by finishing 1 or 2 in the conference regular season standings.

Gillette and Cheyenne host the 4A East. The boys go to Gillette while the girls go to East High. For the boys, Laramie is the #1 seed with Cheyenne East #2. Central fell to #3 and will take on #6 Sheridan Thursday at 3pm. Riverton is #4 and plays the host #5 Camels at 5:30.

In the Girls, top ranked Laramie takes the #1 seed into the weekend. The Lady Plainsmen await the winner of #4 Riverton and #5 Gillette who meet at 5pm Friday. #3 East will take on #6 Sheridan in a 3 pm match with the winner taking on #2 seed Cheyenne Central.

In Evanston, #1 ranked Kelly Walsh boys take the top seed with Natrona being #2. Thursday's do or die pairs have #4 Green River vs. #5 Evanston at 3 and #3 Rock Springs vs #6 Star Valley at 5pm.

Girls West Regional action in Rock Springs has Kelly Walsh as the top seed with Natrona #2. The Trojans play on Friday against the winner of Thursday's match between #4 Green River and #5 Star Valley who meet at 3pm. The Fillies await the winner of Evanston and Rock Springs who battle at 5:30 pm on Thursday.
