Regional soccer day one is complete. There were 8 games played in some chilly and windy conditions around the state.

At the 4A East boys Cheyenne Central took care of Sheridan 3-0. #3 seeded Central takes on #2 Cheyenne East Friday at 3:00PM. #4 Riverton fell to #5 Gillette 2-0, Gillette plays Laramie at 5:30PM.

The Cheyenne rivalry will happen in 4A East girls regional soccer as well. East defeated #6 seeded Sheridan by a 3-0 score. East plays #2 Central tomorrow at 3:00PM. #4 Riverton was upset by 5 Gillette 2-1. Gillette will play #1 Laramie Friday at 5:00PM

In 4A West boys soccer Green River knocked off Star Valley 2-0. The Wolves will play #1 seeded Kelly Walsh at 3:00PM tomorrow in Evanston. #3 Rock Springs downed #6 Star Valley 6-1 and will play Natrona Friday at 5:00PM.

Finally in 4A West girls action #4 seed Green River fell in a mild upset to #5 Star Valley 1-0. Star Valley moves to state and to play #1 Kelly Walsh tomorow at 3:00PM. #3 Rock Springs knocked off #6 Evanston 2-0 to end the year for the Lady Red Devils. RS will play Natrona at 5:30.
