The Broncs scored twice in the first 10 minutes off of Bison turnovers, and took control from there.

Springtime means many things. For the little guys like him, it's getting back on the bike and enjoying a ride, while the big boys are running around kicking a soccer ball. I wonder what would happen if you put the 2 together?

#1 4A Sheridan at #5 3A Buffalo...first half...Sheridan wearing the blue...trying to score from the corner, but Trevor Rogers was just able to get a hand on the ball and knock it away. He had some back-up, but he did not take any chances. He was just doing his job.

It's still early in the game, and the Broncs were back at it...Riley Sessions with a steal in the backfield...and then he sees a very small window of opportunity near the far goal post...and squeezes one in. That's goal #6 on the season for the junior and he has his team on the board...up 1-to-nothing.

A few minutes later...the boys in blue would strike again thanks to another turn-over...Noah Iberlin with a great centering pass to Dontae Crow...Rogers tried to cut it off at the pass, but to no avail and Crow had an easy shot. We have not yet played 10 minutes, and the score is already 2-zip.

Here we go again from the corner, but this time the Buffalo defense would step up...Elijah Gilbert would block the first shot...then Kevin Medders would stop the rebound from going into the wrong net...Rogers was eventually able to get ahold of the ball, and that would get him out a jam for the time being.

You could tell which side was more aggressive...here Iberlin is going to tip toe through the defense...kicks the ball out to Crow who knocks it home again, not long before the break. The junior is tied for the lead in goals scored in Class 4A with 11...and Sheridan would hold a 3-nothing advantage going into halftime.

Second half...not a lot happened, but we got to give the Bison a little bit of love. This was their best shot...Medders was right on target with this free kick, but so was Jess Edens with the save. The invincible force met the immovable object on that play, and the object did not move. The Broncs would preserve the shutout...winning 3-nil.
