The Little Snake River girls took control early and coasted to a 72-38 win over Hulett in the opening round of the State 1A Basketball Tournament at the Casper Events Center on Thursda morning. Snake River led 19-6 after one quarter of play and 44-13 at halftime. The Rattlers received an incredible game from Samantha Moon who finished with 28 points on 12-18 from the field. Kristin Gourlay had 14 with Addie Stanley chipping in 13. Hulett was led by Jordyn McNamee with 24 points but the Red Devils shot just 24% from the field. Snake River is 19-7 on the year and will play Encampment in the semi-final round Friday at 4:30 at Casper College. Hulett drops to 12-12 and will face Rock River in the consolation round at 9AM on Friday.
