The St Stephens girls will have a chance to repeat as 1A Champions thanks to a 69-59 win over Farson-Eden at Casper College on Friday night at Kelly Walsh High School.

St. Stephens had a terrific 2nd quarter as they outscored Farson 23-14 and held on from there.

Trinity Googles led the Eagles once again with 20 points, including a 9-10 performance from the free throw line.

She also pulled down 11 rebounds. Martina Brown had 16 and Whisper SunRhoes had 13. Farson received a sensational game from Mackenzi Reed who hit an astounding 8, 3 pointers enroute to 24 points.

Carly Griffin was solid for the Pronghorns as well with 20 points and 11 rebounds.

St. Stephens will play Encampment for the 1A state chamoionship on Saturday at 3:30 at the Casper Events Center.
