The Lady Eagles of St. Stephens rang up 32 points in the 4th quarter to beat Kaycee 66-41 in the opening round of the 1A Girls State Basketball Tournament at the Casper Events Center on Thursday night, Kaycee rallied to cut a 17 point deficit to 4 but that was as close as the Bucs would get. St Stephens improved to 19-4 on the year and were led by Josette Oldman along with Lyndsay Harris with 12 each. Kaycee got 22 from Tinley Pierson but dropped to 10-15 overall with a consolation round game tomorrow at Casper College. The Eagles have a semi-final game Friday at 6pm at the Erickson Gym.
