The first culminating event of the fall comes this weekend.  

RESULTS:

Big Horn's Taylor Nance held off a second day charge by Kacie O'Connor of Sundance to win the 2A girls title.  After a first day 103, O'Connor came back with a 91 in day two, but, Nance went 95 and 98 and won by a single stroke.   Lusk would put golfers 3-4-5 and  win the team title.

For the 2A boys, Jesse McManis of Thermopolis ran away from the field and won by 6 strokes over Lusk's Denton Shaw.   Scores were higher by nearly everyone on the second day at Foster Gulch Golf Course in Lovell.   Thermopolis would win the 2A boys team title.

3A saw the Jackson boys and Cody girls earn team titles.   Powell's girls were second, Buffalo third.  Boy's side saw Lander second and last year's Champs Powell a very close third.   Individually, Pinedale freshman Jordan Costello would shoot a 71 on the second day to come from behind and win.  Jackson's Mitch Ellingson and Scooter Gill went 2nd and 3rd.   For the girls, Worland's Sarah Schroefel performed well on her home course winning by 8 strokes.  Cody Sophomore and  last years 3A champion Sydney Gunn was second, Lander's Jordan Hitshew was third.

4A saw the boys championship come down to a shootout.  Nathan Green of Green River would win in a shootout over Austin Hinchey of KW.   Riverton's Aaron Nirider was third.   Amanda Hinchey of Kelly Walsh was the girls individual champion.    She would win by 9 strokes.       Team champs saw the NC girls win by 3 shots over KW while the Kelly Walsh boys were on top of their division.
