State XC Preview
Cross Country ends their season Saturday in Douglas. Several individuals are back to defend their titles. Lovell’s Collin May is back for another shot at a 2A boys title while Pine Bluffs sophomore Austin May looks for the same on the girls side. Jackson’s Oliver Schofield won the 3A boys race last year but the girls race will have a new champion. In 4A, Star Valley’s Hailey Ricks won the girls race as a sophomore while the top six finishers were seniors on the boys side.
In Team standings, the Wyoming Indian boys and Pine Bluffs girls won 2A titles while the Jackson boys and Powell girls won 3A. 4A saw Natrona win the boys and Gillette take the girls titles.
Races begin at 10:30 am with the last race starting at 1:20 pm.
