Outdoor Track and Field teams are now in the second half of their season, and the state meet is 1 month or less away.
Tuesday, April 21:
Gary Benson Border War at Sheridan: Click here for results
Wyoming Teams Participating: Sheridan, Gillette, Kelly Walsh, Natrona, Cody
Teamwise, Gillette edged Billings Senior in the girls division by 4 points. Natrona would decimate the boy’s field with 188 points. 2nd place Billings Senior had 91. The Mustangs won 8 different events on the way to the team title.

Teams Participating: Riverton, Lander, Thermopolis, Shoshoni, Wyoming Indian, Big Piney
Riverton hosted a twilight meet and won both divisions. The RHS girls held off Big Piney by 4 points while the Wolverine boys won big. In all there were six schools competing.

Teams Participating: Cheyenne South, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne Central, Laramie, Pine Bluffs
Cheyenne was host to a throwers only Invitational. They kept team standings in which East would win both. Scott Gross of Pine Bluffs would win both the shot and the discus while South’s Dani Noble was the girls shot put winner and East sophomore Cosette Stellern won the discus.

The Burns Girls and Pine Bluffs Boys won team titles in the 7 team event. Burns' Ashley Turner won the 100, the 200 and was on the winning 4 by 4 relay. Natalie Booth of Lingle won the 100 hurdles and the triple jump. Scott Gross of PB won the shot and disc. PB boys and Burns girls (by 1/2 point over PB) placed first.
