U Pick Em Week 1

Congrats to Josh Borm who calls Chadron, NE, his home now.   He is the Week 1 winner of the Wyopreps.com You Pick 'em Football Challenge.     Josh scored 33 points in the first week to win a Wyopreps Sweatshirt and a 25 dollar gift certificate from Smith's.      The former Cheyenne Central standout is now a member of the Chadron State Eagles football program as a kicker.

Ken Ellison of Burlington was 2nd with 31 points, JR Larsen of Powell and Roger Carroll of Green River tied for third with 30 points while another Chadron football player was fifth in Clay Cundall, formerly of Greybull.

So how about this week?   Douglas and Cokeville are both 0-1?   Not time to panic yet, obviously, but they certainly don't wanna go 0-2.   Both are on our games of the week to pick this week.  Cokeville hosts 1-0 Riverside while the Cats are home to Cody who's looking to battle back after a tough loss at home last weekend.

Other big games?   How about  East at Gillette in 4A,  Mountain View at Greybull in 2A,  and Snake River at Dubois in 6 man football.
