Most teams are moving into the conference portion of their schedule, which should make the rankings a little more interesting down the road.

The top 3 teams in 4A are unanimous. Gillette, Kelly Walsh and Natrona. All of which will go into conference play against lower ranked or un-ranked teams this weekend. Gillette is on the road vs. Central and #5 East. #4 Riverton plays both Casper schools...KW at home, and then at Natrona.

The Rawlins Invite set the stage for the new 3A poll...and the top 3 teams from that tournament, are the top 3 in the new rankings. Rawlins got all but 1 first place vote, that went to Douglas, who is #2, and then Star Valley climbs up to #3, pushing Jackson down to #4. Glenrock claims the last spot, and the Lady Herders have their hands full this weekend. First a Thursday game home vs. #2 Douglas, then they hit the road against #1 Rawlins.

Wright would stand tall at the Big Horn Invite...and they do the same unanimously on the 2A poll. The Lady Panthers dispatched of #3 Lovell and #4 Big Horn this past weekend...but on Friday they get host the Lady Rams in conference action, and then head to Lusk for another Invitational. Kemmerer holds at #2 and should get a challenge Thursday when go west on US Highway 30 to play 1A Cokeville. Shoshoni drops to #5, after getting beat by Big Horn last weekend.

On the 1A side of things, #1 Little Snake River, swept #2 Encampment in conference play, although the Lady Tigers got a little bit of payback at the Hanna Invite...but that was not a conference game. LSR heads to Thermopolis this weekend, for their invitational, and face some 2A competition. Cokeville holds at #3 and the defending 1A champs are beginning to gain ground...they could have a good one Thursday night, home vs. #2 2A Kemmerer. Lingle-Ft. Laramie has cracked the rankings at #4, bumping Hulett to #5. Both of those teams will compete this weekend at the Lusk Invitational.
