Wrestlers get the season started this weekend around the state and across the borders.

The 2013-14 Wrestling Season kicks off this weekend.  Big tournaments are planned for Evanston and Powell with other events at Torrington and also at Custer, SD.

Blazer Duals- Torrington   8 teams competed at Torrington. Scottsbluff was first, Chadron second and Douglas 3rd.

Billings Tournament at West High-    After winning four Billings Invites in a row and six of the last seven, Gillette finished runner up to Billings Skyview over the weekend in Billings.   The Falcons had four champions, five runner-ups and four other placers, and held off Gillette  277.5 to 235.5.

Custer SD Invite-  Custer    Moorcroft led the way for Wyoming teams placing 2nd at the Custer SD invite over the Weekend.  Douglas high of Box Elder SD was the team champion.

 

Lingle Fort Laramie took part in an invite in Crawford, Nebraska.   The Doggers were lead by Championship performances by Wyatt Hageman at 152 and Brody Lay at 160.   Lane Hageman was 2nd.  The Doggers finished third in the 11 team field.
