Weekend golf was in Rock Springs, and Cody/Powell while XC raced in a few different locales.

 

Sundance hosted a one day golf invite on Tuesday.   Denton Shaw of Lusk and Kacie O'Connor of Sundance/Hulett won individual crowns.  Team titles were won by both the Sundance/Hulett boys and  girls.

Danny Davis of Gillette beat Powell's Bowen Prestwhich in a 1 hold, sudden death playoff to win at Cody/Powell.  Among the other highlights was a hole in one by Ben Wollenzien of Sheridan.  The 14th hold in Cody was playing 195 yards that day.     For the Girls, Gillette's Haley Shackelford won with a two day 165.  Sydney Gunn, Cody, was runner up.

 

In Rock Springs, Pinedale freshman JordanCostello won a on the second hole play off with Cheyenne Easts Quintin Pope.    Both were 144 after two days.   On the girls side, Amanda Hinchey won convincingly for Kelly Walsh.

Wright hosted a one day event on Friday.   Denton Shaw of Lusk and Kacie O'Connor of Sundance/Hulett were champs.   Team winners were the Lusk girls and Sundance boys.

Cross Country:

Sheridan hosted their annual Michelle Ludwig Memorial XC race on over the weekend.

Abby Phillips of Gillette was first.  The Junior was followed by freshman teammate Tabitha Simmons.   Gillette put four runners in the top seven places and won the team title.  On the Boy's side,  KW sophomore Hunter Davila was first.    The Gillette boys also won this team title.

The Rock Springs boys were among a handful of Wyoming teams co compete at the Cardinal Classic in Soda Springs, Idaho.  The Tigers won the team title behind the 4th place finish of Ricky Faure.  Asher Catterall and Krey Ramsey helped the team finish going 8th and 9th for the Tigers.    Jackson's boys were sixth,  Star Valley was 7th.   For the girl's, Star Valley lead the Wyoming finish in sixth.  Jackson and Rock Springs went 7-8.   Individually, Hailey Ricks of Star Valley was third.

Gering Nebraska hosted a meet in which Wyoming teams took part.   Team results weren't available, but, CLICK HERE FOR INDIVIDUAL FINISHES.
