Wrestling Weekend Dec 15-17
Tournaments:
Pat Weede Memorial in Gillette: The Camels dominated their home dual tournament Friday and Saturday. Gillette would g0 7-0. Ponderosa finished 2nd with a 6-1 mark.
Battle of the Big Horns in Worland:
Powell defeated Worland in winning the Pinnacle Bank Battle of the Big Horns in Worland. Star Valley was third with Sheridan fourth. Clay Carter of Sheridan and Randy Andrews of Powell were voted the Outstanding Wrestlers of the event.
Wright Duals: Dubois, Greybull, Hulett, Moorcroft, Lusk, Shoshoni, Sundance, Wright, Wind River, Upton,
Bison Bonanza at Cheyenne South: The South Bison won their own wrestling event this weekend in Cheyenne. They Bison scored 259 points to runner up Torrington's 231. Glenrock was third, East was fourth. South won three weights inTyler Colley, Cade Noble, and Cody Dunn.
Out of State Events:
Greeley Invite at UNC: 54 teams from several states are on hand for this event at Northern Colorado University. Wyoming teams include Central, Natrona, and Laramie.
Kremmling CO Invite: Saratoga
Flatwater Fracas in Grand Island, NE : Cheyenne East
Viewmont Tournament in Bountiful, Utah: Evanston
Warrior Classic at Mesa State in Grand Junction: Green River,
North Summit Invite: Cokeville
Hot Springs Invite: Lingle-Fort Laramie
