Wyoming High School Final Volleyball Rankings 2018

It's post-season time which means teams will rely on themselves to become #1 and not rely on the opinions of the coaches and media.

Once again, Kelly Walsh is the unanimous #1 4A team. The defending champs will be at the West Regional Tournament at Rock Springs, and so will #2 Star Valley, who shares the ranking with Thunder Basin. The Lady Bolts host the East Regional Tournament, and will joined by unanimous #4 Laramie. Cheyenne Central and Cody share the #5 spot, for the 2nd time in 3 weeks.

Unanimous 3A #1 Lyman completed an undefeated run through the regular season. Now to see if they can win 6 more matches to finish the job. The West Regional Tournament will be hosted by #3 Mountain View. #5 Powell will be there as well. Elsewhere, #2 Rawlins and #4 Douglas will be at the East Regional Tournament at Torrington.

2A voting has extremely light. 2 media members and 1 coach voted. #1 Wright and #2 Pine Bluffs carry the top seeds, heading into the East Regional Tournament, hosted by #5 Glenrock. #3 Southeast will be there as well. With so many ranked teams at one tournament, there is a possibility that 1 may not make it to the state tournament. #4 Greybull will be at the West Regional Tournament at Lander.

The west occupies the top 4 spots in the final 1A rankings of the season.Still the unanimous #1 ranked team is Cokeville. Joining them at the West Regional Tournament at Lander will be #2 Saratoga, #3 Farson-Eden and #4 Meeteetse. Arvada-Clearmont and Kaycee share the #5 ranking, heading into the East Regional Tournament at Newcastle.
