There was a shuffle in the smaller classes of latest coaches/media rankings, while big games await in the bigger classes.

The top 4 teams in 4A all play each other this weekend. Unanimous #1 Sheridan hosts unanimous #4 Kelly Walsh, while #2 Natrona is home vs. #3 Cheyenne East. The results will either clear up future rankings or cloud the picture. Meanwhile, Rock Springs is back in at #5, by 1 vote ahead of Thunder Basin.

There's a chance for some unranked teams in 3A to prove themselves this week. Unanimous #1 Star Valley will entertain Worland, but the big game in the west is unanimous #2 Green River hosting Cody. Meanwhile in the East, Buffalo is up to #3. The Bison host an undefeated Rawlins team, that has not received any votes, mostly due to which teams they have played so far. The East starts conference play this week, and the schedule has #4 Douglas hosting Riverton and #5 Torrington at home vs. Lander.

There are no more undefeated teams in 2A, and the rankings have been shuffled except for the top spot. Glenrock is still #1, mostly because their loss last week was vs. a 3A team (Riverton). The rest of the rankings are west teams. Mountain View is up to #2 and will play a non-conference game this week at 3A Jackson. Big Piney moves up 2 spots to #3, after their big road win last week. #4 Greybull will be on the road for a big game at #5 Pinedale.

It was close on top of the 1A rankings. Cokeville is back on top by 1 vote ahead of #2 Pine Bluffs. The Panthers have some business to take care of in the West this week. Last year, Rocky Mountain picked up their first win ever vs. Cokeville, and it was in shutout fashion at Cokeville. Elsewhere the Hornets will entertain Tongue River in a rematch of last year's state championship game. Upton-Sundance is up to #3 this week, while former #1 Big Horn drops to #4. Southeast is back in at #5, and plays the non-conference game this week.

There's one new team ranked in 6-man this week. The top 4 are unchanged. Kaycee is still the unanimous #1, while Farson-Eden, Little Snake River and Burlington remain at #2, #3 and #4. Midwest is the new team in the rankings at #5.
