The latest coaches/media rankings were jumbled up some, after last week's games in the bigger school classes.

Many should be keeping an eye on 4A again this week. Now that former #1 East has been knocked off their undefeated perch, and down to #3, the matchup to watch is the 2 teams that beat them in Cheyenne. It's a 1 vs. 2 clash, when Sheridan goes to Gillette on Friday. That will settle things for only a short time, because teams will start their second run through conference play next week. As for the rest of the rankings, Natrona moves ahead of Central for the #4 ranking, thus bumping the Lady Indian to #5.

The same 5 teams are still ranked in 3A, but the order has been mixed up some. Rawlins is still #1, by a large majority. Lovell moves up to #2, and bumps Powell down to #3. Douglas holds at #4, while Star Valley drops to #5. Not much is on the schedule this weekend, as far as ranked team vs. ranked team goes.

Not much change happened in the 2A ranks. Undefeated Southeast is still #1, but not unanimous. Burns stays at #2 for now. Lyman moves ahead of Thermopolis by 1 vote for #3, thus pushing the Lady Bobcats to #4, while Pine Bluffs holds at #5. There's not much time left in the regular season, and Southeast and Pine Bluffs still have to play each other twice, with the first scheduled for this Friday at PB.

The 1A ranks remain unchanged, and only 5 teams got votes. Undefeated Cokeville is still the unanimous #1, while Little Snake River is the unanimous #2. After that, it's still Upton, Lingle-Ft. Laramie and St. Stephens.
