Unlike the boys, the latest coaches/media girls basketball rankings didn't change much based on last week's results.

The voters are pretty much set on which teams are the top 2 in 4A. Natrona and Gillette have held those spots for quite sometime. Cheyenne East trades places with Sheridan at #3 and #4, after the Lady Thunderbirds won last week's encounter. Despite the loss last week, Rock Springs hangs on to the #5 ranking, by 1 vote over the team that beat them last week...Evanston. The Lady Devils have a tough this weekend, hosting NC on Saturday.

The top 3teams in 3A are close in terms of the number of votes received. Even though their undefeated record was ruined at home, Worland is still the #1 team, but #2 Newcastle closed the gap on them, thanks to last week's road in. #3 Star Valley didn't move up or down in the rankings, but they also have drawn closer to the top. Mountain View drops to #4 and Douglas is still #5.

Action picks up in the unchanged 2A rankings on the last weekend of the regular season. The top 4 teams all play each other on Friday, and both games are in the south. #1 Lyman plays at #4 Wyoming Indian to decide the southwest, and #2 Pine Bluffs visit #3 Southeast to decide the southeast. #5 Big Horn has it's own big game on Saturday at home vs. unranked Tongue River, for first place in the northeast.

Like 2A, the 1A teams are wrapping up conference play and are preparing for next week's regional tournaments. St. Stephens is the unanimous #1. Little Snake River moves up to #2, thanks to their win last week at now #3 Cokeville. Even though Kaycee lost last week, our guess is the some voters were impressed that the Lady Bucs were able to hang with SS, and keep the Lady Eagles well below their scoring average, hence they move up to #4, and Encampment drops one spot to #5. The Lady Tigers visit LSR on Saturday, to close out the regular season,
