Coming off of the winter break, a few teams made some moves in the latest coaches/media rankings.

Cheyenne East remains the #1 team in Class 4A, but last week, Natrona showed that the Lady Thunderbirds are vulnerable. As a result, the Fillies are now in at #5. Evanston moves up a few spots to #2, after giving East a run for their money last week. Thunder Basin is up to #3, after making it to the championship game of the Energy Classic Tournament 2 weeks ago. The Lady Bolts host both Casper teams this weekend. Kelly Walsh is ranked #4 this week, while Campbell County was removed from the top 5 by the voters.

The 2 undefeated teams in 3A are the top 2 teams in the rankings. Douglas and Lyman maintain the top 2 spots. Buffalo is a solid #3 after winning the Big Horn Basin Shootout Tournament last week. Mountain View gave Lyman a scare last weekend, and move up 1 spot to #4, bumping Powell down to #5.

A new team has entered the 2A rankings. Rocky Mountain has slowly been climbing up the ladder and are up to #4. The Lady Grizzlies are 1 vote behind Wyoming Indian, and visit the Lady Chiefs this weekend. Lusk retains the #1 ranking, and Greybull is up to #2 this week. Pine Bluffs drops 3 spots to #5, after their loss to unranked Big Horn last week.

The first 1A rankings of 2018 are the same as the last ones of 2017. 6 teams are ranked. Encampment is the unanimous #1, followed by Little Snake River, Cokeville and St. Stephens. Once again, Farson-Eden and Rock River are tied from #5. Conference play starts this week in the southwest, as Cokeville and Farson-Eden both visit Encampment this weekend.
