The sprint medley relay is a new event in 2018, and Rock Springs boys have set the initial record with a time of 3 minutes 39.66 seconds.

In the preliminaries, Kelly Moodry of Sheridan set a new state record in the Girls 400 meter dash with a time of 57.60 seconds, breaking her old record of 58.22 set last year.

Kelly Moodry of Sheridan set a new state record in the Girls 800 meter run with a time of 2 minutes 16.35 seconds. The old record was 2:16.92 set in 2013.

MacKenzie Marler of Cheyenne East set a new state record in the Girls 1600 meter run with a time of 5 minutes 8.83 seconds. The old record was 5:11.05 set in 2015.

Aubrey Frentheway of Cheyenne Central set a new state record in the 3200 meter run with a time of 11 minutes 4.34 seconds. The old record was 11:13.92 set in 2014.

Sydney Holiday of Cody girls missed the state record in the 55 meter dash by 0.06 seconds.
