Wyoming High School Spring Rodeo Season 2015 – Week 5

Cowboys and cowgirls are in for a chilly and possibly a wet competition this weekend, depending on if the competition in indoors or outdoors.

This weekend's rodeo competition is scheduled to take place in Gillette.

Below are the winner of last week's Newcastle rodeo.

Saturday winners listed first, followed by Sunday's winners.

Barrel Racing: Linzee Adamson (Arvada) won both days.

Breakaway Roping: Kaelie Oliver (Douglas) and Quincy Segelke (Snyder, CO)

Bull Riding: Ty Bertrand (Gillette) and Tyrell Fisk (Rozet)

Goat Tying: Jacey Thompson (Whitney, NE) and Kaylee Seeds (Jay 'Em)

Pole Bending: Abi Deveraux (Newcastle) won both days.

Saddle Bronc: Wyatt Rising (Gillette) and Mike Burtenshaw (Buffalo)

Steer Wrestling: Teigen Finnerty (Wheatland) and Teigen Marchant (Newcastle)

Team Roping Saturday: Kellan and Jayden Johnson (Casper)

Team Roping Sunday: Teigen Finnerty (Wheatland) and Cody Ballek (Clearmont)

Tie-Down Roping: Owen Wahlert (Grover, CO) and Garrett Murphy (Torrington)

The top 4 in each event at the end of the season, are invited to compete at the High School National Finals Rodeo, to be held in Rock Springs July 12-18, 2015.
