Three new #1's are in the latest coaches/media volleyball rankings, and 2 of those 3 earned it, by beating the then #1 team last week.

4A did not see the #1 ranked team get beat last week, but there's a new team on top regardless. Kelly Walsh passes up East for the top spot. It's probably going to be close between these 2 teams for awhile. Natrona holds at #3, while Gillette and Sheridan crack the rankings at #4 and #5 respectively. East has the difficult road trip this weekend, playing both the Lady Camels and the Lady Broncs in conference action.

Mountain View is now the queen of the 3A mountain. They earned after taking down former #1, and now #2 Powell, in the championship game of the Rawlins Invite this past weekend. Last week it was Lovell at #3 and Rawlins at #4. This week, the 2 teams flip flop spots, with the Lady Outlaws holding the higher spot. After that, it's Newcastle at #5. Not much excitement is on the schedule this week, as far as ranked team vs. ranked team matchups go.

All is right for now in Wright, as they beat last week's 2A #1, and host team Big Horn, in the finals of the Big Horn Invite. The Lady Panthers are the new #1, and the Lady Rams have to settle for #2. Southeast and Lyman each move up one spot to #3 and #4, and Thermopolis is in at #5, and host their own invitational this weekend.

The undefeated Lady Red Devils of Hulett have the 1A #1 spot to themselves, but 3-time defending champ and current #2 Cokeville is beginning to gain ground. Encampment moves up to #3 after beating former co-#1 Little Snake River last week in a conference game, although the now #4 Lady Rattlers did manage to win the Hanna Invite ahead of the Lady Tigers. In the end, the voters decided it was the conference game that matters, and gave Encampment the #3 ranking. Finally, Kaycee takes Upton's spot at #5.
